An inquiry-based model for learning, keeping students engaged, fostering investigation, and encouraging them to learn from their own experiences while developing independence for life choices.
An inquiry-based model for learning so that students remain engaged in classrooms, investigate, learn from their experiences, and develop independence to make choices in life. The program offers our students life-long skills such as communication, collaboration, mindfulness, digital literacy, and creativity.
Aster teachers see children at the center of their learning process. The child-centered environment provides our students with the opportunity to be reflective, confident and innovative individuals who are excellent decision-makers. It is beyond rote-learning abstract ideologies from books but about understanding concepts with concrete materials. In classrooms, students reflect on the information presented to them and experience the joy of learning with hands-on collaborative projects.
Our students will be prepared for the global and technologically advanced world. As they have access to internationally resourced materials, library/ICT lab, learn about world affairs and foreign languages such as Arabic. They participate in extracurricular activities such as gymnastics, yoga/Zumba, foreign languages, pottery, and robotics/coding. Students also go on field-trips to provide them with the opportunity for experiential learning such as visiting a chef to learn how to make sushi or learning how to budget at a grocery store.

At Aster Elementary we have curated a world-class, research-based curriculum inspired by the Montessori and Finnish methods, that not only emphasizes academic excellence but also takes learning to new heights through immersive and experiential experiences.
Apart from academics, our elementary students enjoy a variety of sports, dedicated reading sessions, skill-developing modules, and extra-curricular activities, around the year.
The elementary level starts from Grades 1 to 4 and its curriculum sets solid foundations for a child’s inquisitive mind to flourish through academics, mindfulness, sports, digital literacy, and eco-consciousness.

At Aster, we understand how crucial it is for young developing minds to understand self-awareness and to be able to effectively self-regulate. To help children become responsible decision-makers, our curriculum has dedicated classes for social-emotional learning. In these classes, students are taught emotional intelligence through interactive activities, video presentations, and fun games. We also have Art Therapy as a module in which they are given a window to reflect on their inner selves, develop regulation and let their emotions flow on paper.
